Not sure how I am going to incorporate these elemetns in to a project. Maybe using music to the text to portray the feelings I have. Things I love: positive major chords; Things I hate: negative minor chords. I am still developing my idea right now.

You did something similar to what I did. The two things I will add to your things I hate list are
1) being texted by my boss during class
2) greed
The two things I would add to your things I love list are
1) English
2) Nice morning wake-up texts/calls
One thing I was thinking about doing was develop a character on facebook who exaggerates these likes and dislikes to a point of comedy. This could work for you as well.
Your list is good so far. I have to say I agree with most of what you say... especially about McCain/Obama :)

I like how there are more things in the love list than the hate list and how the love list is coresponds to the hate list. You could go on with that. For every hate, find a barage of loves.
