I am still thinking about what I want to write but here is another idea that came to mind: using Dr. Seuss to explain the preamble of the U.S. Constitution!
We the People of the light of peppermint cucumber sausage-paste butter! And cheese! Now look! And when tweetle beetle puddle paddle battle in a shame! I bet. Take a more perfect Union, sir. Do you chew, funny things are everywhere. Say! It is no good.. Oh dear! Oh dear! It is fun to wink and secure the common defence, in Order to ourselves and that Goo-Goose, promote the wondrous-smelling stacks!
As usual I have workshopped with a few people in the class and have come up with some interesting ideas. I think by this project I need to be striving for something a bit more complex than copy, paste, click button. I am considering using some of the text in to a video in a way that we used text in the last project. I seem to thrive and feel most comfortable with video editing.

Dr. Seuss is a word smith. Perhaps you could photoshop Thomas Jefferson with the Grinch?
John, I like the idea that Dr. Seuss explains the Constitution. This points to the way these techniques let us see patterns of language, meaning, and culture. How far can one get using Dr. Seuss as a political theorist? Surely his books are about politics of language and intersubjective relations? You ask if you need to do something more complex - you can, but you don't need to!
John-
The thought of Dr. Seuss was a great way to explain the Constition. I love GREEN EGGS & HAM
